Twenty-Eight-Year Old Ms. Pavit Gujral an upcoming jewellery designer from Chandigarh has created history for India by becoming the first Indian jewellery designer to win an award at the recently held prestigious Saul Bell Design Awards (SBDA) 2020 at Albuquerque , New Mexico , USA . It is noteworthy that SBDA has come to be known as the Mecca for recognising and honouring jewellery design talent from across the world since the last 20 years. ‘India ka Painter’ Sahil Kapil shines in the WorldSkills Competitions

Chandigarh :  Sahil Kapil, a student of   MFA from Government College of Art Chandigarh, is a trainer of Team India in the skill of Painting and Decorating for WorldSkills India . He is the first Indian student who represented India in WorldSkills ( Skill Olympic) in “Painting and Decorating” category. He represented India three times in WorldSkills contest, first in Worldskills Asia (2018) held in Abu Dhabi, followed by Global Skill Challenge (2019) held in Melbourne, Australia. Then he took part in Skill Olympics Worldskills (2019) held in Kazan , Russia .
