Deepanjan Charitable Trust and Lions Group Veg got together to host an online webinar after a day of activity of distributing free 500 packets of sanitary pads on 28 May 2020.

Dr Deepali Bhardwaj is a leading Dermatologist and a trusted name in the field of Skin care she is a trustee of the Deepanjan Charitable Trust started by her mother Dr Anjan Prakash (Retired Add MS RML Hospital). This trust manufactures Oxo biodegradable sanitary pads called Laddlee which are also available at KVIC stores and were launched by Minister Nitin Gadkari last year. Gaurav Gupta from Lions Group is a famous name in social philanthropy and is always at the helm of doing social work and activities. 

Gaurav Gupta being a man was called Laadla as this webinar on Facebook and zoom and YouTube had an audience of 1000 people and went for more than 2 hours as people didn’t leave. 

Few celebrity guests and thinkers who shared fantastic ideas in the panel discussion to name were Member of Parliament Verma ji from Rajya Sabha Badarpur. KL Ganjoo the Counsellor General of Comros who said the trust must push for subsidy on pads even more so that every women can afford pads and menstrual hygiene products also. Ambassador of Gabon Josephine Pactrica cheered the session. Her viewpoint was to use cotton pads and as less as possible gel in the pads and the plastic synthetic ones. Sandeep Marwah a famous name in media and social entrepreneurship as he is known for his philanthropic works cheered all the women with light anecdotes and shared the news that he will be extending his work to help more women. Also Delhi University Assoc Professor Dr Amna Mirza spoke passionately on the topic and others like Social Umberella NGO founder Advocate Ms Bhawna Bajaj who has been distributing laadlee and other pads during lockdown. 

All women together echoed that it’s time for no taboos. Ladies like Neha Kambhoj, Rachna Kalra, Reema Garg, Kavya Khurana , Aradhna Nayaar , Gunjan Gaur, Sanjana Jon spoke there hearts out. Oscar winner for film Period - Suman and Deepali Sinha wished the work by the organisers all the best. Shweta from My log PR communications emphasised on importance of women spirit specially in those 5 days. Ladies from all walks of life joined captain Priti Singh, publisher and journalist Neetu Singhal who spoke from her heart about how taboos have to leave the Indian system for a successful growth, Aruna Purohit did the same and all women discussed on how to dispose the pads specially in the Covid era. 
Pienal Wankhade from Maharashtra, Gayatri Tewari from Pune And Kakoli from North East and Anurag Garg from Bharatpur also graced the panel and cheered few parts. 
Ladies from NagpurSurat, Assam and Africa had joined this interactive panel discussion with main take home message cheerfully resonating from organisers Dr Bhardwaj and Gupta to all being to 'Celebrate Womanhood' and realise that to bleed is to breathe and this must happen freely at home and in the society.
