University of North Carolina Charlotte apologizes to the Sikh community

Charlotte , North Carolina : A Sikh student on the campus of the  University of North Carolina Charlotte had to face harassment last week. He was handcuffed and detained merely for wearing a kirpan — a Sikh article of faith.  Such mistreatment of a Sikh student and gross ignorance displayed by the 76-year-old university about Sikhism shocked the Sikh community around the world. Sikhs have been part of the American social fabric for over a century. AIPL Dream City NXT, a sustainable green township, committed to increase green cover

Amritsar : Fully aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Advance India Projects Limited (AIPL), a pioneer in real estate development, continues a unique plantation drive ‘Trees of Joy’, in Punjab, under which a micro forest of 550 saplings of 35 Native Species of Punjab is being planted as per Miyawaki (Japanese method) at Amritsar's AIPL Dream City NXT located on NH-1, Delhi-Amritsar Highway, on land owned by Vishnurupa Developers Private Limited.
