  Kolkata : Biswarup Karmakar from village Maliara in Bankura district of West Bengal has made a record in creating maximum items with hay. The achievement will be featured in the upcoming issue of the India Book of Records (IBR). Biswarup got inspired by his friend who is also an artist to do something unique and practiced for two to three hours a day before attempting for the record. He says, “In the beginning I had a fear that I would not be able to make the record perfectly, when I finished the task well, it made me proud of myself and my capabilities.” When asked about the hardships in attempting the record, Biswarup said, “The main challenge was how to cut and iron the raw material.     New Delhi : IJM ( India ) Infrastructure Limited, Solapur ( Maharashtra ) has got featured in the India Book of Records (IBR) for creating a record by Laying of Bituminous Concrete on maximum kilometres on a National Highway project, the Bijapur Project, in a single day under the National Highways Development Project (NHDP). The NHDP is a project to upgrade, rehabilitate and widen major highways in India to a higher standard. This project is managed by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) under the Ministry of Road, Transport and Highways. IJM (India) Infrastructure Limited carried out a unique activity on 25th February 2021 of laying the Bituminous Concrete on 26.82 Lane Kilometers on the Solapur – Bijapur Section of the National Highway – 13 (New NH – 52), a high density traffic corridor between Bengaluru to Gwalior in a short span of 20:45 hours. The 5 th grade student has always been recognized as a bright student in his school. He has also participated in School plays and delivered speeches. Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) : Akash Bhatnagar from Ghaziabad has created a remarkable record in doing maximum single leg football juggles performed in 30 seconds. His name has been included in the India Book of Records (IBR). Akash Bhatnagar (born on February 20, 2000) is also titled as ‘Grand Master’ in Asia Book of Records (ABR) for the same attempt. He performed 95 football juggles with his right leg in 30 seconds, as confirmed on September 09, 2020. Football juggles is one of the important techniques, practiced to develop the ball control during a football match. He wanted to help all the talented sportspersons through his sports NGO, who are facing problems in their respective career.
