Chandigarh :  Navigators Overseas, a city-based immigration and overseas education consultancy firm situated at Sector 35, Chandigarh has provided 22 successful visa approvals to applicants within the span of a week.  The visas were handed over to the applicant students by Veena Goel, Managing Director (MD) of Navigators Overseas during a ceremony held at a hotel in Sector 35, Chandigarh . Dr Jagvinder Singh Virk, Chairman, India Australia Strategic Alliance Melbourne : Rescue flight carrying 444 Australian passengers landed in Melbourne . Passengers erupted in loud cheers and applause as the charter flight carrying the first batch of Australians who were stuck in India ’s Corona Virus lockdown touched down in Melbourne . A group of 444 Australians, including 33 infants, who had been stuck in India arrived in Melbourne aboard a Lion Air chartered flight from New Delhi at 8 PM on Sunday. The rescue operation was spearheaded by Sydney based Dr Jagvinder Singh Virk, Chairman of India Australia Strategic Alliance. Dr Hemant Garg at University of New Castle Chandigarh : Dr Hemant Garg, Law officer working at Punjab State Cooperative Agricultural Development Bank Ltd Chandigarh, was invited at 14th International Cooperative Alliance Research Conference, held recently at University of New Castle , New south Wales , Australia  to present his research on the "Role of Cooperatives in Developing Food Processing in Punjab ”.
