Recorded Music Performance Ltd files case against BCCI, GCA, Gujarat Titans, DNA

Dharamshala, HP: The Recorded Music Performance Ltd (RMPL) the sole Copyright Society registered by the Government of India for managing Sound Recordings, has filed a suit for copyright infringement for songs played at the Gujarat Titans games played at Narendra Modi Stadium, in Ahmedabad on behalf of one of its members. It is to be noted that a police complaint for copyright infringement of a song against Punjab Kings (PBKS) has been filed by RMPL in Mohali near   Chandigarh. A police complaint has also been made in Lucknow against Lucknow Supergiants (LSG). Dev Samaj School students shine in CBSE Class 10th & 12th result

Chandigarh:  Harshita Joshi, a commerce student of  I S Dev Samaj  Senior Secondary School, Sector 21 Chandigarh scored an inspiring 93.8 percent in the CBSE Class 12 th  results declared recently. Khusleen Kaur, a Class 12 th  student scored 93.6 percent in the commerce stream.  Himani Thakur, a medical student of Dev Samaj School scored 90.8 percent, while Saurabh Kushwaha, a non-medical student scored 91.8 percent and Shivanshi Verma scored 88.4 percent in the arts stream. Meanwhile, in the   CBSE Class 10 th  result Priyanshu scored 95.8 percent. Samanpreet Kaur scored 90.2 percent, while Harnoor Kaur and Rhythm Sikka scored 89.8 percent in CBSE Class 10th results declared recently.    

Seminar on ‘Net Zero: Alternate Fuel for Marine Propulsion’ held

  Chandigarh: A thought-provoking seminar was held here on ‘Net Zero: Alternate Fuel for Marine Propulsion’ under the aegis of the Marine Engineering Division Board of The Institution of Engineers-India (IEI), Punjab and Chandigarh State Centre, in collaboration with the Institute of Marine Engineers India, Chandigarh Chapter, Institution for Innovation Industrial Engineering and Entrepreneurship, Mumbai, Merchant Navy Officers Association (MNOA), Chandigarh and The Company of Master Mariners (India), Chandigarh. Dr. Labh Singh FIE welcomed all dignitaries on Dias and the participants attending the seminar. MNOA Chandigarh president Captain T.S.
