New Delhi : IJM ( India ) Infrastructure Limited, Solapur ( Maharashtra ) has got featured in the India Book of Records (IBR) for creating a record by Laying of Bituminous Concrete on maximum kilometres on a National Highway project, the Bijapur Project, in a single day under the National Highways Development Project (NHDP). The NHDP is a project to upgrade, rehabilitate and widen major highways in India to a higher standard. This project is managed by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) under the Ministry of Road, Transport and Highways. IJM (India) Infrastructure Limited carried out a unique activity on 25th February 2021 of laying the Bituminous Concrete on 26.82 Lane Kilometers on the Solapur – Bijapur Section of the National Highway – 13 (New NH – 52), a high density traffic corridor between Bengaluru to Gwalior in a short span of 20:45 hours.
