NSDC, Masai announce strategic partnership focused on outcome-driven skilling for tech jobs

Chandigarh:  National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and Masai School today announced a strategic partnership to skill India ’s youth for tech jobs through an outcome-driven skilling model. The partnership agreement was signed by Ved Mani Tiwari, Chief Operating Officer and Officiating CEO, NSDC and Prateek Shukla, Co-Founder & CEO, Masai School today. Giving impetus to the Skill India Mission, the collaboration will benefit the lives of over 1.5 lakh students and their families in tier 2 & 3 cities over a period of seven years. This will enable aspirants to go beyond their economic & educational background by creating a level-playing field for private-sector tech jobs through skill-based learning certified by NSDC. Rang De Basanti motorcycle ride held in memory of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru

Mohali: Rang De Basanti (RDB) motorcycle ride, which is an annual edition of 'Thumpers Group' - a bikers' group of tricity, was flagged off by Ashok Thapar and Tribhuvan Thapar, who are from the family of Shaheed Sukhdev. The duo was joined by Hemant Jindal, Umang Jindal and Puneet Bhandari from Homeland Group and Pankaj Sethi in the flag off of the ride. The bike ride started from CP 67 Mohali and culminated at Khatkar Kalan, the ancestral hometown of Shaheed Bhagat Singh located in Shaheed Bhagat singh Nagar at a distance of about 100 Km from Chandigarh . 'Uns' was formally and very uniquely unveiled through a 'performed poetry' presentation at the world famous Rock Garden. A music and dance recital was showcased as part of the performed poetry presentation by city based contemporary dance artiste Puneet Jewandah and Bharatnatyam virtuoso Varun Khanna to the accompaniment of  live tabla and violin.
