Dr Hemant Garg at University of New Castle Chandigarh : Dr Hemant Garg, Law officer working at Punjab State Cooperative Agricultural Development Bank Ltd Chandigarh, was invited at 14th International Cooperative Alliance Research Conference, held recently at University of New Castle , New south Wales , Australia to present his research on the "Role of Cooperatives in Developing Food Processing in Punjab ”. His research paper was widely appreciated and he became the only Indian to be invited twice to the same international level conference in two consecutive years, the last time at 13th International Cooperative Alliance Conference, which was held at University of Wageningen, Netherlands, where his research paper "Digital Governance in Cooperatives" recieved wide acclaim and recognition and an award for the best research paper on cooperative governance was given to him.
