The NHDP is a project to upgrade, rehabilitate and widen major highways in India to a higher standard. This project is managed by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) under the Ministry of Road, Transport and Highways.

IJM (India) Infrastructure Limited carried out a unique activity on 25th February 2021 of laying the Bituminous Concrete on 26.82 Lane Kilometers on the Solapur – Bijapur Section of the National Highway – 13 (New NH – 52), a high density traffic corridor between Bengaluru to Gwalior in a short span of 20:45 hours.

A company spokesperson said, "It's a proud moment for everyone, as we have set a benchmark in the National Highway Construction. We are overwhelmed by getting selected by the IBR.

The vision of the Minister of Road Transport & Highways and Minister of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises motivated the company for this achievement.
