GAIL wins Leaders Award and Sustainability 4.0 Award 2020

 


New Delhi: GAIL (India) Limited has won the Leaders Award in the Mega Large Business, Process Sector category in the 11th edition of Frost & Sullivan - MEASA and TERI - The Energy and Resources Institute's Sustainability 4.0 Awards 2020.

The award recognises corporates in sustainable development practices that provide a measurable and verifiable framework for sustainability. Manoj Jain, Chairman and Managing Director, GAIL said, “We are extremely happy and honoured to have been recognised as Leader in Mega Business Process Sector Category this year by Frost & Sullivan and TERI Award Jury. The award is essentially a result of eco-conscious development GAIL has been pursuing for the past 36 years.”

Frost & Sullivan and TERI Award Assessment is an in-depth and comprehensive assessment based on a well-defined framework covering all critical areas of sustainability.

GAIL (India) Limited is India’s leading natural gas company with diversified interests across the natural gas value chain of trading, transmission, LPG production and transmission, LNG re-gasification, Petrochemicals, City gas, E&P, etc. It owns and operates a network of around 12,500 km of high-pressure trunk pipelines. It is working concurrently on multiple pipeline projects, aggregating over 6700 kms.

GAIL commands 70% market share in gas transmission and has Natural Gas sales share of over 55% in India. GAIL and its Subsidiaries / JVs also have a formidable market share in City Gas Distribution. In the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) market, GAIL has one of the largest portfolios in the world.

Star Imaging & Path Lab gets ICMR approval to conduct COVID-19 tests

New Delhi : The leading diagnostic services provider in Delhi NCR “Star Imaging & Path Lab” has started conducting coronavirus tests. Talking to news paper, the management, confirmed the news. As many as 12 private diagnostic chains across six states have got approval from the government to test coronavirus samples. Star Imaging pathology lab is conducting tests for the deadly COVID-19 suspected patients with doctor's prescription and govt. ID proof. Right now, home collection & drive-thru facility is available. The charge for the coronovirus test is Rs 4,500 and the report will be available in 2 days. City Architects Meet to Discuss Professional Issues

Ar Manmohan Khanna, Chairman, Chandigarh Chapter of IIA Chandigarh: The Chandigarh Chapter of Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) in association with the Council of Architecture (CoA) organized a conference of architects at the Govt Museum Auditorium on Monday to discuss various issues the profession has been facing.
