Chandigarh businessman gets cricketers & Bollywood celebs together in unlock India song ‘Be Strong’


Chandigarh: With India now entering a crucial phase of ‘Unlocking’, its most important part of economy - Industries too is in the throes and gradually lifting the shutters with a lot of care & safety. To infuse positivity among industrialists and people at large, a dynamic entrepreneur from Chandigarh - Karan Gilhotra who is also Chairman (Punjab State) of PHDCCI has produced a unique offering a 4-minute-long musical video- ‘Be Strong’, which is dedicated to the theme ‘Let’s Unlock India Together’. A Mohali based multi-national Bigrox Media is supporting the endeavor under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). 

Karan said, “The USP of the song certainly is the stellar performance of actor turned COVID philanthropist Sonu Sood. Sonu has done great work in sending migrants’ from Mumbai home, during the outbreak. Apart from his star status this is a big factor because of which we drew him in. His presence in the song is enthusing people. The famous actor Manoj Bajpai gives a refreshing start in form of a prelude to the song. We have got some very good enactments in the video from the cricketing as well as the B Town world.”

The Karan Gilhotra initiative has been directed by Vikram Vijay Chopra, while the music has been given by famous singer and lyricist of Punjab - Jasbir Jassi. Jassi has also lent his voice to the song. The powerful lyrics of the song have been penned by Sanjeev Anand.  The lyrics are motivating and generate a patriotic feeling and the voice of JasbirJassi, has created a magical melody.

The icing on the song’s cake is appearances of cricketing bigwigs like Virendra Sehwag and Suresh Raina. Jasbir Jassi’s given a memorable performance. Bollywood has been amply represented in the video by names like Jimmy Shergill, Richa Chadda, Pulkit Samrat ,Varun Sharma, Vatsal Sheth, Ishita Sheth and Angad Bedi. Famous stand-up comedian Sunil Grover too is part of the song. Punjabi entertainment industry has been represented by the likes of Amy Virk, Binnu Dhillon and Gurpreet Ghuggi .

Sums up Karan, “The song is all about giving strength to people who have lost hope living amid the lockdown. It gives people a platform to launch themselves into the ‘Unlock India’ phase with vigour.”

Akash Bhatnagar creates record in single leg football juggles

Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) : Akash Bhatnagar from Ghaziabad has created a remarkable record in doing maximum single leg football juggles performed in 30 seconds. His name has been included in the India Book of Records (IBR). Akash Bhatnagar (born on February 20, 2000) is also titled as ‘Grand Master’ in Asia Book of Records (ABR) for the same attempt. He performed 95 football juggles with his right leg in 30 seconds, as confirmed on September 09, 2020. Football juggles is one of the important techniques, practiced to develop the ball control during a football match. He wanted to help all the talented sportspersons through his sports NGO, who are facing problems in their respective career. He said, “I am playing football for past 8 years and it took 6 months of continuous practice of football juggles to achieve this level. I had performed 182 juggles in 60 seconds, it means more than 3 juggles per second. Sunny Bhatnagar, my elder brother and a former International Jeet Kune Do pla
