Independence Day Celebration at Amity University Punjab, Mohali

Mohali: On the morning of August 15th, the campus of Amity University Punjab, Mohali was full of pride and excitement as the faculty, staff and students got together to celebrate India's 77th Independence Day. The feeling in the air was really energetic, like there was electricity all around. Dr. RK Kohli, Vice Chancellor, unfurled the tricolor with utmost reverence. His inspiring address resonated with this year's theme - Nation First, Always First.

The day's celebrations were not just about remembering the past; they were about celebrating how we come together as a country with different backgrounds and beliefs. The day was marked with a splendid parade and a march past, a true showcase of our unity in diversity.

One of the most exciting things during the celebration was a performance by the NSS unit students. They acted out a really captivating skit that showed the journey of our country – how it has grown, how we believe in democracy, and how we stand together for equal values. Their acting made the stage feel alive, and we all got a glimpse of the progress we've made and the problems we've faced.

But it wasn't just the things we saw and heard that touched our hearts; it was also the words of a fellow student. This student recited a really heartfelt poem that made everyone feel a lot of love and pride for our country. It reminded of the people who came before us and what they gave up, and how we have to keep their principles alive.

When the day's events ended, there was a strong feeling of happiness and pride all around. Amity University Mohali didn't just celebrate Independence Day, it created a collection of moments that showed how much we care about our country's growth, progress, and togetherness.
