Higher Education Conclave on August 13


Chandigarh: Students from North India mainly Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, J & K, Uttarakhand and Delhi NCR have a great opportunity to realise their dreams to study abroad as over 55 top universities, colleges, and institutes from Canada, UK, US, New Zealand, Australia, and Dubai will participate in the prestigious ‘Higher Education Conclave’, HEC, at Hyatt Regency here on August 13. The conclave will also showcase many renowned Indian Universities. The mega event is being organised by Silver Fern Education Consultants.

To share greater details about the conclave a press meet was addressed by the organisers and even representatives of a participating college. Almasto Kapoor, CEO, Silver Fern Education Consultants; Varun Atolia, Vice President, Global, Silver Fern Education Consultants, Gaurav Soni, Manager, International Recruitment and Business Development, South Asia and Middle East, Cambrian College, Canada and Saurabh Verma, Sr. South Asia Representative, Cambrian College, Canada interacted with the media at the Press Club, Chandigarh.

Shivam Garg, COO, Silver Fern Education Consultants in a statement said, “The conclave is a great opportunity for students wanting to study abroad as well as in India. The HEC, which will be held from 10 am to 5 pm at Hyatt Regency, Industrial Area Phase I, Chandigarh, on August 13, shall offer a slew of opportunities to students. They will learn about the offerings being made by some of the best seats of learning abroad.”

“The participation of 55 esteemed institutes spanning across Canada, UK, USA, New Zealand, Australia, India, and Dubai, will make the education fair a global rendezvous of educational excellence,” added Garg.

Almasto Kapoor, CEO, Silver Fern Education Consultants said, “Distinguished institutions such as University of Waterloo, University of Alberta, University of Nottingham, Queen Mary University of London, and Deakin University and many more will be present, offering students an unprecedented chance to interact with admission directors of different institutes and get their doubts cleared. Varun Atolia, Vice President(Global), Silver Fern Education Consultants said, “The HEC shall be preceded by activities from Aug 11 itself, making the conclave a 3-day event. Trailblazing school fairs will kick-start the conclave. Three extraordinary school fairs, each hosted at 3 prestigious schools—YPS Mohali, St. John's High School, and Delhi Public School, Chandigarh will be held over 11th and 12th August. Students from over 30 schools from tricity and the region are participating in the HEC.”

“HEC is also featuring two ground-breaking workshops on artificial intelligence (AI). One session is tailored for computer science educators and another for high school students. Participants will delve into the realm of AI and know how AI is the future of education,” added Varun.

A networking event is also planned where high school principals from 35 distinguished schools including St John’s High School, Sacred Heart Sr. Secondary School, Yadavindra Public School, etc. and representatives from 40 prestigious overseas universities and colleges will convene for an unparalleled networking soirĂ©e.

The conclave will also witness a keynote address by Mr. Patrick Hebert, the Consul General of Canada in Chandigarh.

Gaurav Soni, Manager, International Recruitment and Business Development, South Asia and Middle East, Cambrian College, Canada said, “There are multiple opportunities for Indian students in various universities abroad but they need to be guided properly. The conclave shall offer insights on studying in Canada."

HEC is also all set to offer test preparation strategies for IELTS, GRE, GMAT etc. It is noteworthy that the official test preparation provider at the HEC is Testler.

In a nutshell the HEC is slated to provide comprehensive career counselling and elucidate on eligibility criteria for education loans. It will be a one-stop -solution for the educational voyage ahead.
