Mika Singh’s reality show ‘Swayamvar– Mika Di Vohti’ on Star Bharat, starting
from June 19 at 8 pm, has a strong connection with Punjab, as two of the
contestants of the show are from this state. Secondly, many of the celebs who
have special appearances in the show including Daler Mahendi, Kapil Sharma, and
Jaspinder Narula among others belong to the soil.
Star Bharat unveiled the opulent and lavish set of its highly anticipated show ‘Swayamvar – Mika Di Vohti’ at the beautiful Ummed Jodhpur Palace Resort & Spa recently. The resort was decked up like a newlywed bride with flowers, lights, and candles, and the atmosphere was celebratory as the festivities saw participation from singer Mika Singh, the gorgeous contestants, and more. The grand celebration for the launch was packed with several energetic performances and celebratory music booming throughout the palace. The night was dedicated to folk musicians, Bollywood music, and the mesmerizing performances by a close friend and host of the show Shaan, the effervescent Bhoomi Trivedi, and musically gifted Jaspinder Narula, to name a few.
Star Bharat’s landmark show, which will have 12 contestants and Mika woo each other, will be hosted by Shaan the melody king. Shaan the host and dost will give audiences a glimpse of the real Mika behind the very public persona as he sets out to select his dream girl.
The star of the evening and the show, singer and performer Mika Singh said, “I am very excited and all set to find my dream girl- ‘Dusron ki shaadiyon mein bohot Bhangra paa liya, ab apni baari hai’. Star Bharat’s ‘Swayamvar – Mika Di Vohti’ has given me the opportunity to find my companion for life and when they approached me with the show, it seemed like fate had already set things in motion. To find out who will be the chosen one finally, stay glued to Star Bharat at 8 pm starting June 19, 2022.”
Singer Shaan who returned to host a reality show after a gap of 14 years, said, "I was absolutely delighted and could never say no to such an opportunity. I am grateful to Star Bharat for making me a part of ‘Swayamvar – Mika Di Vohti’, where my friend will finally be on a pursuit to find his best life companion. I feel very excited but I am also nervous as it is a very big responsibility to make sure that I help him make the right choice. But I will do anything for my brother, and I am all set for it.”
Singer Bhoomi Trivedi, who got candid about the festivities, said, “We've always been great friends, and I've never spoken about it because I've never felt the need to. I'm ecstatic to be a part of the Star Bharat family and Mika Paaji's new chapter. My wishes are with him, and all I ask is that he finds the best of the best to share the rest of his life with."

He had already entrusted this responsibility to me to find him a good match so I am very happy and thankful to Star Bharat for arranging such a spectacular hunt. It’s been a pleasure to be part of the festivities. I would like to thank Star Bharat for this momentous evening and I wish all the very best for my little brother that may he get the best girl as his life partner.”
Swayamvar - Mika Di Vohti is produced by SOL Productions and presented by Star Bharat. The show is a weekly offering, premiering on Sunday, June 19, at 8 PM, and will air every Monday to Friday at 8 pm.
