NPC North India & Mr. Tricity on April 17 at Indradhanush Auditorium, Panchkula


Panchkula: National Physique Committee (NPC) North India – the renowned bodybuilding organisation in India under the banner of NPC Worldwide USA is organising its 2nd edition of “NPC North India & Mr. Tricity" bodybuilding and physique championship on 17th April 2022 (Sunday) at Indradhanush Auditorium, Sec 5, here from 11 am till 6 pm.

More than 300 athletes are expected to participate in the competition from tricity, Delhi-NCR, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Uttrakhand and Uttar Pradesh etc.

"The competition will be conducted under the banner of NPC Worldwide USA and it’s an important calendar event in the world of bodybuilding as it acts as a qualifier for the country's most prestigious bodybuilding competitions - Amateur Olympia and Sheru Classic," briefed Hemant Aangrish, Director, NPC Worldwide India.

Atinderjeet Singh, NPC State Head, Chandigarh, said, "NPC North India has set the standards for bodybuilding competitions and is a one-of-a-kind event of North India. It provides an amazing platform for bodybuilders to showcase their achievements and skills in bodybuilding."

Steadfast Nutrition which is a premium sports nutrition brand is associated with the championship. Aman Puri, Founder of Steadfast Nutrition said, “We are a brand that has always been an integral part of Indian bodybuilding. We are excited to bring the competition to Panchkula for the benefit of the entire bodybuilding fraternity."

Sahil Dhingra, State Manager, NPC, Chandigarh said, "NPC India will be a guiding road for all the athletes to Mr. Olympia competition. The championship will be conducted in various weight categories."

In Bodybuilding North India and Tricity, the competition will be held in different weight class categories - up to and including 60 kg, 65kg, 70kg, 75kg, 80kg, 85kg, 90kg and +90kg. In Classic Physique North India and Tricity and Men's Physique North India and Tricity the competitions will be conducted – up to & including 5.7 feet, 5.9 feet, and 5.9 feet and overall respectively. In the Junior Class - the NPC Junior Bodybuilding and NPC Junior Men's Physique will be conducted. And 'Bikini North India' for women bodybuilders will also be conducted at the event. BW
