Vikash Kumar Vishwakarma makes Palamu proud with his achievement

 


Ranchi (Jharkhand): The record for reciting the names of all the countries of the world along with their capitals, currencies and areas in the least time was set by Vikash Kumar Vishwakarma of Palamu, Jharkhand.

He recited the names of 195 countries, their capitals, currencies and areas in just 11 minutes and 7 seconds, as confirmed on January 4, 2021 by the India Book of Records (IBR).

Vikash, born on April 10, 1998 in Palamu district of Jharkhand, said that he had been trying to set few records in different categories. He got inspired by a memory trainer in Patna (Bhihar), during the preparation of a competitive examination.

He practiced for three weeks before setting this record. Since he could not arrange the fee for a memory training course, he developed his own method of memorizing huge data, facts and words.

He is thankful to his family for the restrictions on wrong ways of leading life. His friends encouraged him to carry on the efforts, while he ignored those who laughed at him for his unusual ways of learning new things.

Vikash believes in his dreams and he has a special quality of hard work and persistence. He thinks everyone should follow their dreams and should strive to fulfill those aspirations.

Textile body HEWA thanks PM Modi for back to back decisions to promote Indian Exports

New Delhi : The Home Textile Exporters' Welfare Association (HEWA) whole heartily thanked the Modi Government for giving patient hearing to various woes of Indian Textile exporters that were brought to the cognizance of various ministries and govt departments by HEWA. The Union Minister for Textile & Commerce, Piyush Goel and Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting, Anurag Thakur declared during a press briefing recently that Government of India has approved disbursal of a hefty amount of Rs 56,000 crore arrear to the exporters under various schemes such as MEIS, RoSL, RoSCTL and RoDTEP.
