Sashimi Foods Pvt Ltd gets “Best Fisheries Enterprise” Award


New Delhi: On World Fisheries Day 2020, The Union Government, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Department of Fisheries hosted a award function at New Delhi, by the Ministry of Fisheries presided by Union Minister, Minister of State and senior officers of the Department. The Ministry awarded on World Fisheries Day in 7 categories to States, Individual Groups and Company's.

Sashimi Foods Pvt ltd, Bangalore based company established in 2015 Specialized in Fresh Fish & Breaded Seafood products catering to B2B & B2C, Sashimi Foods Pvt ltd catering to 13 Countries with there annual Volume is more than half a million Kg of fish. This award was given at a glittering ceremony hosted by the Ministry of Fisheries presided by Union Minister, Minister of State and senior officers of the Department. 


Sashimi Foods Pvt Ltd is awarded “BEST FISHERIES ENTERPRISE” by Govt of India, National Fisheries Development Board, Hyderabad. Sashimi Foods Pvt Ltd is the only Company from the state of Karnataka to be honoured with this award by the Union Government, Ministry of Fisheries.


Managing Director & Founder of Sashimi Foods Pvt Ltd Mr.Kedarnath Reddy received the Award from the Honorable Minister, Mr.Kedarnath Reddy an Engineer by profession with passion in Fresh Fish Business, developed “Prawn Crunch” an end to end Quick Service Seafood chain across Bangalore, Hyderabad & Chennai, Home delivery model of Fresh Fish through online model “www.Buyfish.in” Mr. Kedarnath Reddy of Sashimi Foods Pvt Ltd has been in the Business for the last Twenty Years.


Mr.Kedarnath Reddy Managing Director of Sashimi Foods Pvt Ltd Expressed Thanks to the Ministry. Mr. Reddy further said“we are a responsible enterprise, recognize the efforts and support critical stake holders, hand hold fisherman by getting them fair price for their tireless efforts” and said that “Government support and recognition like this provides the stimulus and new hopeof expansion and growth in fisheries sector”.

He thanked the Fisherman from 44 Landing centers across east & west Coast from where he sources the material and dedicated this award to, FISHERMEN COMMUNITY of India.

Akash Bhatnagar creates record in single leg football juggles

Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) : Akash Bhatnagar from Ghaziabad has created a remarkable record in doing maximum single leg football juggles performed in 30 seconds. His name has been included in the India Book of Records (IBR). Akash Bhatnagar (born on February 20, 2000) is also titled as ‘Grand Master’ in Asia Book of Records (ABR) for the same attempt.
