Chandigarh: DEPICT, an initiative of Amarsons Commercial Pvt Ltd, is an e-service platform, which shall bridge the clients’ need of Mental Healthcare Services or Facilities for themselves or significant others, both online and offline in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Parth Aggarwal, the brain behind the DEPICT project, said, “While working in association with an experienced and skilled panel, consisting of Counselors, Psychologists and Psychiatrists, our prime motive is to spread awareness about Mental Health and to provide best consultation services for the same.”

Challenging the taboo surrounding Mental Health is what made Parth to bring about this innovative portal, through which anyone and everyone can understand the true meaning of Mental Health and find a solution, if required. It’s tagline is - “Why distort, when you can DEPICT”. 

Parth Aggarwal, CEO, a writer by chance and a philanthropist by choice, has been enthusiastically learning about human psychology from different angles ad schools of thought during his graduation at Panjab University, Chandigarh and while assisting in Counseling and Psychotherapy sessions. His determination to create a platform for his society's mental well-being and to challenge the taboo surrounding Mental Health, DEPICT originated. DEPICT is derived from the four goals of psychology: (D)escribe, (E)xplain, (P)redict and (C)ontrol.

He said, “We sincerely believe that our association and collaborative efforts with professionals will not only serve our society, but also address the lagging knowledge about Mental Health by providing absolute guidance and assistance to our users (you). Through our portal, we shall not only educate people about their Mental Health, but also help them connect with a professional, after understanding and analyzing their concerns through an exclusive screening, which is specifically designed and tailored to calculate one’s experiences in the past 10-15 days.

Amarsons Commercial Pvt Ltd is a private company, promoted by Late Shri Amar Nath Aggarwal and his sons in 1991. It provides services in the field of logistics of Health Care products of MNCs, such as Piramal Enterprise, NEPC, Allergan and Sentiss etc. in northern parts of India. The management vests with the board of directors comprising very eminent, qualified and experienced personnel, namely Mr Parvin K. Aggarwal, a Chartered Accountant by profession, with over four decades of experience in corporate sector as financial and investment planner; Mrs Renu Aggarwal, a graduate with three decades of experience in managing corporate affairs and a social worker of the world’s largest Women’s International Service Organization; Dr Ashok K. Aggarwal, a doctor in Homeopathy by profession, with over three decades of experience in the same.
