Ramniet Mukherjee distributes masks, sanitizers, snacks to Chandigarh Police

ChandigarhMs Ramniet S Mukherjee (42), a dynamic human rights activist from Chandigarh, who is an United Nations Awardee and founder of Helping India Trust initiated a drive to distribute masks, sanitizers, juice and snacks. She and her youth wing representative Karan Khurana, a Hockey athlete from Punjab University, met  SSP Nilambari Vijay Jagdale at Chandigarh Police,Headquarters at Sector 9.

The drive is to help Chandigarh Police in the fight against COVID19 crisis. Helping India has been quite active in past few years whenever some natural calamity occured and has done examplary work in the state of Uttrakhand during the year 2013 Kedarnath tragedy. 

Ramniet S Mukherjee said, “It is our duty to show love and care through simple gestures to our front line warriors, that includes police personnels like Kuldeep Sharma, working round the clock and serving people while risking their lives.”

Ramniet has achieved many accolades and appreciations for her work so far, including the Visionary Woman of the Year Award (2017) and Women Excellence Award (2016) for her contribution in social activities in past 12 years. She is the first and only differently abled woman who went to Uttrakhand during the natural calamity in 2013 and got appraisal from Vice President of India.

Ramniet also became the first candidate to file nomination for Chandigarh Lok Sabha Constituency polls in 2019. She is a renowned philanthropist, motivational speaker, MSME growth coach for startups and a singer also. Her vision is to contribute towards her country through her services, experience and social work.

Ramniet S Mukherjee, being a specially abled woman, showed ability to share love and care to the police personnel who are acting as major support to the citizens of Chandigarh and requested all to remain humble and thankful to them and show love by coming forward. Helping India will be contributing essential needs to police personels posted at barriers in continuation from time to time .
