Atulya Prayas organised Blood Donation Camp

A mega health checkup, cancer awareness and blood donation camp was organized by 'Atulya Prayas', a local NGO, in collaboration with Rana Production and Balwinder Singh, at Basant Vihar Phase-1, Dhakauli in Zirakpur. Mr Deepinder Singh Dhillon, Mr SMS Sandhu and Ms Jasbir Kaur, Naib Tehsildar, were the special guests at the event.

Ms Ramnik Sharma, Founder President of Atulya Prayas said, “We are happy to organize this successful blood donation camp with the active participation of the blood bank team from the Government Multispeciality Hospital, Sector 16, Chandigarh. A total of 56 units of blood was collected during the process, while above 120 people got their health checked.”

Mr Vikas Luthra, Founder of Furever Friends, was present as the guest of honor. Mr Luthra said, “Social causes do not belong to one NGO only. It is a responsibility of each member of the society to find out solutions of the various social issues. In this spirit, various organizations and individuals contributed to the program.”

Ms Navita Ahuja, Vice President of Furever Friends, was honored on this occasion in view of her commendable services to the society. Ms Khushboo Yadav, who has been associated with a Chandigarh-based FM radio station, was the Master of Ceremony (MC). 

Ms Monica Rai, Vice President of Atulya Prayas, said that doctors and blood donors were honored for participation in the camp.
