Interesting things happen in the lives of storytellers

Dr Amit Nagpal, President, Bloggers Alliance
Interesting things happen in the lives of people who share stories. An interesting journey began at New Delhi recently to provide a platform to bloggers to network, get trained, monetize their passion and learn to tell stories. Bloggers Alliance intends to provide exposure to best people and practices to its members and handhold them on the road to success.

Dr Anurag Batra, Chairman, Business World group conveyed his best wishes to the Bloggers Alliance Founding Team, saying that “When you talk of bloggers, they are the new leaders. They are influencing the policy by influencing the policy makers. They are setting the agenda for the media because sometimes they set the agenda by being authentic and by being deep. Sometimes they speak the voices that need to be spoken but are not represented in the media. I congratulate all the bloggers who are here”.

Devendra Jaiswal, Dr Amit Nagpal, Narvijay Yadav and Murtaza Ali Khan
Bloggers Alliance is an association of bloggers and is registered as a not for profit society. Devendra Jaiswal, Secretary, Bloggers Alliance shared, “In the first phase, chapters will be launched in the major cities of India and international chapters will be set up in the second phase. The two major objectives of Bloggers Alliance are: to assist bloggers in monetizing their blogs and to train bloggers in skills like digital storytelling, personal branding and influencer marketing for the same; and to encourage bloggers to take up social issues relating to their country, community and the globe.”

Panel Discussion
Dr Amit Nagpal shared the story of Bloggers Alliance with the audience. He shared, “Apple Co-Founder Steve Wozniak made a sweeping statement, “Indians Lack Creativity” during his visit to India in February 2018.So I began introspecting and wondered how I can further contribute to the nurturing and enhancement of creative process in India. Indian education system needs structural reforms to encourage creativity and innovation. In fact if one analyses the deeper issues, being a developing country we discourage risk taking and creativity requires taking risks and risking failure.”

Dr Amit began to search for likeminded people and Devendra Jaiswal, Co-Founder Kids Chaupal soon joined hands as Co-Founder. They proceeded to build a team of senior advisors and young executives to help bloggers showcase their creativity to the world. Mr Narvijay Yadav, President, Chandigarh Chapter also attended the programme.
