Narvijay Yadav is President of Bloggers Alliance - Chandigarh Chapter

ChandigarhRenowned Buddhist Monk, Bhikkhu Sanghasena blessed the founder members of Bloggers Alliance and released ‘Blogger Vlogger’, a quarterly newsletter at a programme held on the occasion of Social Media Day. Bloggers Alliance is a non-profit association of bloggers, storytellers and creators.

Dr Amit Nagpal, President, Bloggers Alliance, said, “The inaugural issue of Blogger Vlogger, highlightes the story of Sanghasena and my upcoming book “Heroes Amongst Us’, having stories of 32 people, who are living their passion. In the first phase, various chapters will be launched in major cities of India and international chapters will also be established in the second phase."

Senior Media Consultant, Mr Narvijay Yadav is appointed as the President of  Chandigarh Chapter of Bloggers Alliance, which comprises the states of Himachal Pradesh, J & K, Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand and Nepal.

Bhikkhu Sanghasena, Founder President, Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre (MIMC), Leh-Ladakh, conveyed his best wishes to the Bloggers Alliance team and empahsised on the importance of coverage of positive news. He said, “Media needs to focus more on inspiring stories of people who are working for social change and pressing global problems such as climate change and melting of glaciers.”

Prominent people present on the occasion included, Dr Amit Nagpal (author and storeteller), Mr Binod Chaudhary, the only Billionaire of Nepal, Environmentalist Dr Suzanne Von Der Heide (Germany) and Dr Noor Gilani (former Scientist, NASA - USA).

Textile body HEWA thanks PM Modi for back to back decisions to promote Indian Exports

New Delhi : The Home Textile Exporters' Welfare Association (HEWA) whole heartily thanked the Modi Government for giving patient hearing to various woes of Indian Textile exporters that were brought to the cognizance of various ministries and govt departments by HEWA. The Union Minister for Textile & Commerce, Piyush Goel and Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting, Anurag Thakur declared during a press briefing recently that Government of India has approved disbursal of a hefty amount of Rs 56,000 crore arrear to the exporters under various schemes such as MEIS, RoSL, RoSCTL and RoDTEP. The declaration is a very big relief for the entire Export Industry, which includes MEIS worth Rs 33,000 crore, RoSCTL and RoSL worth Rs 5,500 crore and few other schemes aggregating Rs 5,000 crore.
