Dr Vinod K Verma is new President of Delhi Lions Club Veg



Lions Club Delhi Veg has the distinction of the only club in the world, which has hosted many events in different embassies. This was disclosed by the Charter President Gaurav Gupta at the time of the installation ceremony of the newly elected President Lion Dr Vinod K. Verma and his team. The ceremony was held at Swarn Jayanti Sadan of New Delhi and the new team was installed by District Governor Lion M.L. Arora.
Ambassador of Namibia, His Excellency Gabriel, diplomats from Burkino Faso and MP, Sh  Bhuwaneshwar Kalita, Justice S P Jain, former Secretaries Govt of India Mr Alok Perti and Mr K.D. Tripathi were among many IRS, IFS and IPS officers and  senior journalists, who graced the occasion.
Dr Vinod K Verma said, ‘I am thankful to the senior Lions officials and specifically to the district governor Lion M L Arora and Charter President Lion Gaurav Gupta for the good wishes.’
He assured the Lion Team that he will put all his efforts to make the club more vibrant and effective with the cooperation of all the members as he is so lucky to have an excellent Team.
Vice Distt. Governor Lion Nargis Gupta and Lion Ashok Sharma also blessed the new team. All guests were presented gifts by Dr Deepali Bhardwaj, Lion Deepak Sharma and Lion Sanjay Garg. Lion K.L. Malhotra gave a vote of thanks.
Everyone enjoyed musical performance given by singer Abhishek Khandelwal and delicious Chaat and food by Bikanerwala.
New members were inducted by past governor lion Dr V.S. Kukreja, while Lion R.N. Lakhotia gave his blessings. Lion Dr S.S. Minhas presented plants to all the guests.
